Americas Best Value Inn Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, New York

It was a sudden decision to go on road trip from from Boston towards Burlington and so on.., and was not expected to stop it any where.. but after a 5 hours drive, we we decided to stop by in Plattsburgh.. as my fiance wanted to try some food.. and found that there was a butcher block restaurant.. as some how he heard about this restaurant by his friends...But we ended up having late dinner and really didn't have any idea to drive or take rest.. but as we had some good dinner with drinks.. so decided to stop by in a hotel.. and checked with restaurant crew.. as they mentioned about Americas Best Value inn next door, and mentioned that the rooms were renovated under new management, so decided to give a try...as we didn't even start the car as it is really next door. .so just walked in...and checked out at front desk.. so we booked a delux room.. it was very reasonable price though... and we just walked into the rooms... first thing we checked was bath room.. and to our surprise it is like newly remodeled bath tubs with shower.. and Vanities are really good. Rooms are kept very clean.. and they were really very warm.. as we have to reduce the heater...even though out side is chilling cold, the room has got nice TV with good channels, internet was great to catch up emails and stuff... and there was a big work space if needed.. we both liked it very much... Next day we woke up little late, and after fresh up we walked into the breakfast area.. it was a decent continental break fast, and good number of guests with families and kids were hanging out in breakfast area.. they could have added some eggs and that would have been complete.... as they have fresh fruits, milk, juice and so on.. it was decent for any one... As we wanted to checkout some other places in the city..so we got some help from the front desk person (Don't remember his name) and drove around the city . by the time we came it was 2:00 PM, as we wanted to checkout, by the time we came back, the maids already cleaned up and kept the room very clean, we had a shower and came back to checkout, normal checkout time was already over so we thought these guys are going to charge us two days, but they didn't charge any extra and the front desk person marked the room for cleanup for next day... Overall, It was a nice stay for the price we have paid ($59) and the front desk people were really co-operative in helping... I can recommend this place to anyone who like to give a try... It is worth the money we paid, and very spacious rooms with bright lights and comfortable beds.
